Wedding Flower Budget Planning
When it comes to wedding flowers, there’s a ton of flexibility. The first thing to consider as a couple is how important fresh flowers are to your big day. Maybe florals aren’t a huge focus for you, or maybe they’re the thing that will bring your dream wedding to life. Either way, your budget should reflect what feels right for you! Also, think about your venue—does it need extra floral magic, or is it already stunning on its own?
As a general guide, we recommend setting aside 10-15% of your total wedding budget for flowers. If you’re dreaming of an ultra-lush, Pinterest-worthy floral experience, 20-25% is a better range. Most of our couples spend between $3,500-$7,500, but we work with budgets both below and beyond that—it's all about what feels right for your vision.
Here’s a rough guide to what different budget ranges can cover:
Under $1,000
A bridal bouquet, a few bridesmaid bouquets, and boutonnieres for the groom and groomsmen.
If you're having a very small wedding with no bridal party, this could cover your bouquet, a boutonniere, and a small floral feature for the bar or main table.
$1,500 - $3,000
Personal flowers (bouquets + boutonnieres) plus some simple reception table décor (think bud vases scattered along guest tables).
Or, instead of table florals, this could cover a minimal floral feature for your ceremony (like a simple arched arrangement).
$3,500 - $5,000
Personal flowers, plus a statement piece for your ceremony or reception—such as a floral arbor or guest table styling.
$6,000 - $10,000
Our full-service wedding range! This typically includes personal flowers, a ceremony floral feature, a reception installation, and florals + candles for guest tables.
If a custom ceremony structure (like a chuppah) is involved, this budget may cover that plus personal flowers and a few key reception touches.
$10,000 - $15,000
Now we’re talking statement florals! This budget could include personal flowers, large impact pieces at the ceremony (such as urn arrangements, an archway with aisle florals, or a showstopping chuppah).
At the reception, you might opt for a hanging floral installation along with table flowers and candles.
Of course, every wedding is unique, and there are so many ways to customize your floral plan. This guide is just a starting point! We haven’t listed every little add-on, like flower crowns, cake florals, or petal tosses—but we’re happy to chat about all those special touches.
A Quick Note on Labor Costs
Setup and breakdown times vary by venue, and this can impact costs—especially for early morning setups or late-night teardowns (plus, Saturdays and Sundays tend to have premium labor fees).
At Bunches Floral Collective, we’re all about working with you, no matter your budget! We don’t have a minimum spend, and we love helping couples make the most of their floral investment.
